Rescue 16 is a 2000 Ford F450 with a Sabre Rescue body. The truck is powered by a 7.3Liter Powerstroke Turbo diesel and has seating for 5. This unit is also equipped with a PTO-driven 5kW generator which produces electricity for scene lighting, and other tools. Rescue 16 is Roscoe`s primary response unit for our Pennsylvania State Licensed QRS medical service, as well as vehicle accidents and other types of rescue incidents. This truck is also used as our command vehicle and is equipped with 3 radios: 33MHz, 46MHz, and High-Band. (Additional portable radios and Nextel cellular phone on-board as well)
